The Venturing Officer’s Association (VOA) is a forum for Venturing crew youth officers to learn from and share with other Venturing crews in the council with the help of advisors from the council level. 

VOA Meetings

 Though it is designed to help the officers of each Venturing crew, anyone can attend.  It is encouraged that two officers from each crew attend these meetings, and those two from each crew will be voting members at the meetings.  All new ideas and input are welcome and encouraged.  The VOA meets quarterly and our next meeting will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 pm at Central Michigan University. We will be climbing at their climbing wall located in Finch Hall, followed by a VOA meeting. For more information or to print off the registration form, visit the link below. Area 2 Encampment

On May 4-6 LHAC will be hosting the Area 2 Encampment at Camp Rotary in Clare, MI! This  zombie themed weekend event will be open to all Venturers, simply go to "Files & Downloads" on the right to find the Area 2 Registration Form. Early registration will last until April 23 (please refer to the flyer for further registration information). Check-in will begin on Friday, May 4th, followed by ILSC training and other Venturing-related trainings offered Saturday morning and a pentahalon in the afternoon! Our zombie themed weekend will draw to a close Sunday morning at closing flag. All meals will be provided on Saturday and also a cracker barrel Friday evening including fun Minute to Win It games where you can attempt to win fun prizes!
