The conoes sat for years on the trailer besides the building till the wood rotted away and the tires were bad. We replaced the wood, added lights, made a repair by welding on an angle iron and replaced the tires. On May 18-20th Troop 785 went on the first conoe run down the Chippawa River from Camp Weidman. All the conoes were water tight and many scouts learned how to paddle a conoe. We now have 6 conoes for the troop to use.
