The all new and improved www.lhacbsa.org is here!  It is an amazing leap forward for the Council’s ability to communicate with our valued volunteers.  You will find all the same information (plus much, much more) in an organized and easy to navigate format.  News articles will regularly be posted to the website on both the main Council page and our district page www.lhacbsa.org/Thumb Click through and familiarize yourself with the new site. 

    The Thumb  District page will be the main source of up to the minute information about Scouting in Tuscola and Huron counties.  From this page you will find news articles, event articles, our District Calendar, information on District volunteers, and more!  The calendar will be an extremely useful tool for you for a variety of reasons.  It will be updated regularly reflecting any changes almost immediately.  By clicking on an event on the calendar you can find out details, view and print the flyer, and even REGISTER ONLINE!!  This new feature will allow you much greater flexibility in signing up for events!

    To take full advantage of the website you will need to create a MyCouncil username and password.  This will allow you to register for events online, signup for the electronic council newsletter,  and manage your settings.  You will be able to subscribe or unsubscribe on your own and change your email address at your convenience.
