Just under 200 Boy Scouts, Webelos, and Adults participated in the Tall Pine District Klondike at the Grayling Military Base in Grayling January 22nd-24th!

Scouts participated in different Scout Skill Competition Stations including: First Aid, Fire Building and Ice rescue, Shelter Building, Map and Compass, Knots and Lashings.

Later in the afternoon Scouts were able to see the Grayling Fire Department, Fredrick Fire Department, and the MMR Ambulance up close and personal of real life situations and scenerios that the Scouts worked on earlier in the day at the different Scout skill stations.

The 2010 Tall Pine District Klondike was planned and hosted by Scoutmaster Loren Goodale from Troop 979 in Grayling....Thankyou for all your hard work!
