The Lake Huron Area Council is offering at least four $500 scholarships for qualifying Eagle Scouts, the deadline to register is February 28, 2012.
On most weekends during January through March, the availability of BSA systems will be affected as the National Council facilitates multiple council mergers, consolidations, and the creation of a new council structure in Michigan.

Youth protection requires sustained vigilance. That is why the BSA has continued to develop and enhance its youth protection efforts as everyone continues to learn more about the dangers and challenges facing youth.
This fun filled weekend is a great opportunity for Webelos Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, and Venture Leaders to meet and share the training experience. Some joint sessions, meals, campfire, and cracker barrels offer great opportunities to meet other Scouters and plan for the future of your Scouting program.
The Wood Badge Dinner is for all Wood Badgers, interested Scouters, spouses, and friends of Scouting.
Wood Badge 2012 will occur over two weekends, August 24-26 and September 14-16, 2012, at Camp Rotary. On-line registration will open November 2011.
The National Youth Leadership Training program is an intensive week-long summer experience for upper-ranking Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts.
The 2013 National Scout Jamboree will be held July 15th through July 24th, 2013 at new The Summit: Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve, located in the mountains near Beckley, West Virginia....
