Matt Boles Memorial Yurt at PBSR

Boy Scout Troop 609 of St. Louis Michigan, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church raised funds to assist the council and lodge in their YURT building project in memory of Matt Boles, former troop member, Senior Patrol Leader, Order of the Arrow member, and PBSR camp staffer, who tragically lost his life in a swimming accident.

In a reenactment of the presentation in front of the full lodge at it's closing ceremony, this image shows Dick Sofian, Troop 609 Committee member, Anthony Rios, Troop 609 OA Representative, and Justin Biver, 2010 Mischigonong Lodge Chief recognizing the contribution of the troop in memorializing the scouting spirit embodied by Matt Boles' legacy at Paul Bunyan Scout Reservation.
