100 Years of Scouting

Please review these VERY IMPORTANT REMINDERS!!

 

All Registration Payments and Forms AND Unit Roster Forms are due into the Scout Office by September 1st.  Please use the forms found in the registration packet.  The Unit Roster forms are found on Pages 12 & 13;  the Registration Form is found on Page 15.

ALL Adults will need a picture ID for the CRTC Gate check-in.

 

 

4) Because of CRTC regulations no weapons including CCW’s may be brought onto the site except for Law Enforcement officials.  Scout knifes of 3 inches or less ARE acceptable.

 

 

5) Each unit is asked to bring and keep on their person copies of the Health Form Parts A & C.  These can be down loaded from the link: http://216.229.20.67/pubs/AnnualBSAHealthMedicaRecord_LHAC.pdf

 

 

6) Hold Harmless forms with parent signature are required for those Boy Scouts and Ventures wanting to Repel, participate in COPE, or take an airplane flight.  Find the form at link: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/19-673.pdf

 

 

7)  Remember, too, there are age, size, and weight requirements for some events.

 

 

8) In the Cub Scout Dorms, cub scouts and their adult partners (i.e. moms, dads, grandpa, step-mom, etc.) will be sharing space in the OPEN BAY BARRACKS and COMMON REST ROOM areas.

 

9) Camping is Jamboree style with “above the ground fires” only!

10) Bring:

Cash for the Coleman Store and the Scout Shop

Boy Scout summer camp Buddy Tags for those wanting to use the river equipment

T-shirts to silk screen and a “can good” for a local food pantry

Donations for the Armed Forces Children’s Education Fund (AFCEF)

 

 

11) A limited number of extra Encampment Trading Post items will be for sale on Saturday --  first come, first serve. Pre-order goods may be picked-up at this time.

 

 

12)  We are guests of the Combat Readiness Training Center.  The CODE OF CONDUCT is the  Cub Scout Promise;  The Boy Scout Oath and Law;  and the Venture Code.  Please remind your scouts.

14)  BE PREPARED!!  Plan for good and bad /  hot and cold weather!  This IS Michigan in the fall!

 

 

15)  Stay with a BUDDY at all times.  Cub Scouts are to stay with their adult partners.

 

 

16)  Check-in begins at 5 pm on Friday, September 24th.   See you then!
