Eagle
Applications must be printed out on a color printer. These forms cannot
be sent in via e-mail for consideration!
National will reject any
Eagle Applications that are sent in via e-mail. They must have original
signatures on them
(in other words, the signatures on the application must be
signed "on paper in ink," not printed out.)
This negates the possibility of
someone simply scanning someone's signature and affixing it to the
application using photo-altering programs.
Please contact Jean
at the Scout office for further details.
We are unable to post Cub Scout and Boy Scout applications here.
Please contact your local Council office for youth applications.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please note: national and local tour
permits must be printed onto 8.5" X 14"
paper.
Tour Permits / Update and Clarification
Complete tour permit and Safe Scouting guidelines can be found in the Council Guide to Safe Scouting
at www.Scouting.org and on tour permit applications. Tour permits can be downloaded online (above).
Tour permits should be used for all Scouting travel trips including council and district activities.
Filing a tour permit demonstrates that your trip is well organized and that those driving have proper
automobile insurance coverage and that adult volunteer leaders understand BSA tour permit and Safe Scouting guidelines.
Note that these are BSA National Guidelines that the local council encourages and that all travel
requires
a tour permit regardless of the unitıs destination including council events,
summer camp, and district events.
Over the past few years, other interpretations of these guidelines have been followed.
It is our hope that all packs, troops, and crews follow the guidelines as set forth
by
the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Note on tour permits: "When in doubt, fill it out."
For tour permits and veteran's awards, please give as much
lead time as possible.
Two weeks for tour permits and a month or
more for veteran's awards is preferred.
We cannot process these as they come in, they are
done in time blocks of two a week.
Veteran's awards are verified and in
some cases sent to National.
