We hope you are celebrating during this, our 100th year!!!
The Lake Huron Area Council Encampment Committee is finalizing plans for this year’s grand event – the 2010 CENTURY OF TRADITION Council Encampment!
The Council Encampment (more than just a traditional Council Camporee) is set for September 24 – 26, 2010, at the Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena -- the sight of the 2,200-person event in 2004.
The CRTC gives Scouts from our 19 counties and other Scout councils throughout the state opportunities never before available at previous council-wide events. Be a part of this experience and Celebrate the Adventure!
Because of national security and the event’s planning site, pre-registration and payment is a must. We understand the struggles and frustrations this causes with the busy lives today’s youth, families and units lead. But, this is a federal security requirement. (Plus, this gives the Encampment Committee more accurate numbers.) Thanks for your understanding!
