Selling Popcorn Online
Scouts are able to sell popcorn to friends and family on-line. If your Scouts participated last year, the Login Numbers stay the same year after year. There is a Log In Number available for each individual unit and for each individual Scout. Sales generated on-line qualify toward Scout Rewards and scholarship credit. Your Unit will receive 30% commission on these sales which will be credited to your unit account each quarter.
Scouts Selling Online Registration Instructions
Each scout needs to register, if they haven’t already done so, and have an email account. If there are two brothers in Scouts, each Scout will need a separate email account. Scouts need to be at least 13 years old or have parent’s permission. Special incentive gift card codes are sent directly to Scouts providing a quick reward for earned sales.
Here is how to register Scouts for on-line selling:
1. Go to the Trails End website. Click here.
2. At the bottom of the page is a “Scout” tab, click it.
3. This will take you to the Scout page, click the tab at the top of the page marked “Create an Account”.
4. Fill in the boxes that ask for Type of Unit (Pack, Troop, Crew, etc), Unit Number, Zip Code and Birth Date.
(NOTE: if the Scout is under 13 yrs old, he will need to enter a parents email address and have
parental approval to have an account)
5. Confirm the charter organization.
6. Enter and confirm your email address.
7. Create & confirm a password.
8. Indicate whether you want to receive emails from Trail’s End.
9. Enter Scout’s first name and last initial.
10. Enter the parents first name.
11. Enter country.
12. Hit Create Account & Log In.
The Log In Number will appear at the upper right hand of the screen. The Scout can then log-in and use an email template to send requests to friends and family.
Leaders are able to create an on-line account to review which Scouts have registered and sales results. Go the “Leader” tab at trails-end.com and register an account.
