Let It Be Proclaimed:
That the “Society of George” be established to acknowledge the “George’s” in scouting who will step forth to do, instead of using the well-worn phrase; “Let George do it”.
By their Crest they will be known as the true “George’s” of scouting who can be counted on to help where ever and when ever needed, if it is at all possible.
By their Crest they will be known to live by the Scout Oath -- To do my best -- To help others at all times -- and to practice the Scout Law.
By their Crest they are honored for their devotion to scouting and their efforts to help when needed.
By their Crest their fellow scouters know that these “George’s” are the foundation of scouting in their community.
