Summer Camp Employment

Are you interested in working this summer in the great outdoors?  Ever consider working at camp? Fresh air, sunshine, a fun work environment, and a paycheck await you at camp this summer.  Paid positions start at age 16 years of age and on up.  Both Paul Bunyan Scout Reservation & Camp Rotary are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and hard working persons interested in spending a summer working on Camp Staff in the following areas:

Waterfront:  Must be at least 16 years of age and a swimmer to apply.  Aquatic programs include BSA Lifeguard, Kayaking BSA, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, BSA Snorkeling and a variety of the aquatics Merit Badges offered at both camps.

Handicraft:  Let your creative side shine! Handicraft offers a wide variety of “hand-on” instruction to Scouts in areas like Leatherwork, Basketry, Art, Pottery, Sculpture, Photography, and more.

Nature:  Interested in the world around you?  Nature offers a wide variety of topics to teach your fellow Scouts about things like Astronomy, Bird Study, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Insect Study, Mammal Study, Plant Science, Weather, and more.

Scoutcraft:  Do you enjoy teaching Scout Skills like fire building, cooking, orienteering, pioneering, knots & ropes, lashings?  If so, then Scoutcraft is a great place to spend the summer.  Scoutcraft offers a wide variety of skills to teach your fellow Scouts how be “be prepared” in the great outdoors.

Shooting Sports: Do you enjoy archery, action archery, rifle or shotgun shooting?  Have a “blast” all summer long teaching Scouts how to safely enjoy firearms and better their proficiency at shooting sports.

Climbing/Rappelling:  Imagine spending your summer 40 feet in the air, traveling down a zip-line or helping Scouts really challenge themselves! Both camps offer an outstanding climbing program that needs staff looking for adventure!

NATOMI or PATH:  Everyone has to start at the beginning, and what better place that our outstanding 1st Year Camper programs.  Help new Scouts learn the skills they need to advance to 1st Class while taking in all the program that camp has to offer.

MADE (Multimedia Application Development Environment) - Camp Rotary: The MADE program offers Scouts the opportunity to explore the worlds of theatre, music, graphic design, cinematography, photography, public speaking, computers, and so much more! Whether you enjoy performing, writing, or being behind the camera, we have something cool to do!

Food Service:  Having fun all day at camp means lots of hungry campers to feed and we need staff to make sure everyone has great meals to eat.  Days, Nights, pick the shift that fits your schedule.
